I took a group to the Detroit Zoo last week and was pleasantly surprised! I loved the new Austrailian Outback. You walk through a field with Aboriginal artwork and kangaroos. Some were laying about and there was a new joey, a baby kangaroo! He was very cute hopping up to his mom, hugging her, tagging another on the ear.
The polar bear area was cool but we didn’t see any polar bears. Guess they were being shy.
You can also feed the giraffes now! My group hadn’t brought extra money so we couldn’t do it but next time!
